Parishioners of Our Lady of Good Counsel recieve valued support from these "prayer warriors" when loved ones, friends and co-workers are in need of prayer to help them through a time of need.  If you volunteer for this ministry, your name and phone number will be added to the Prayer Chain. You will regularly receive a list of intentions for your prayer.

The shortage of priests is something that affects the Catholic Church around the world. The people of Our Lady of Good Counsel are very intentional in preparing for the future by praying each week for vocations to the priesthood and other forms of ministry within the church.  At the end of every Sunday Mass, the Vocation Cross is presented to volunteers who promise to use it as a reminder to pray daily for vocations. Individuals and families sign up in the parish hall after Mass once a quarter.
